The best feeding bottle for babies
The period of parenthood is a time of many choices. They also include purchasing the correct feeding bottle for your newborn baby. How to choose the best feeding bottle? At first glance, this seems to be a simple task. However, turning to the question of finding the right bottle, the matter can get complicated. We have many models and additional feeding accessories on the market. The bottles differ not only in size, but also in material, shape and additional functionalities. How is a parent to know which one will be the best feeding bottle for their baby?
Feeding bottle: glass or plastic?
The question of choosing the material from which the feeding bottle for infants or newborns is made is not obvious. Various types of feeding bottles are available for sale - whether you choose glass or plastic depends only on your preferences. It is important that the one made of plastic does not contain harmful bisphenol A. This information should appear on the label in the form of an inscription, eg BPA free. It is best to test both versions of the bottles - glass and plastic. The more that it is recommended to replace them regularly. So, even the best feeding bottle will not serve your baby until the end of bottle feeding. Glass ones are easier to keep clean, but they keep the temperature of the liquid for a shorter time. On the other hand, plastic ones are safer, because they are resistant to breakage, but they deteriorate faster.
A bottle for feeding a newborn baby versus a bottle for feeding babies
Choosing the right bottle for our child is also a matter of practice. We choose what works best for us, and at the same time is safe to use, of good quality and fits the child. The key is to remember to choose the correct size. The bottle for feeding a newborn baby should have a smaller capacity (about 120 ml) than the one chosen for infants (here we range from 240 to 300 ml).
