The aim of the study at the Institute of Mother and Child was to evaluate the product in terms of general, health and developmental safety of users. During the subsequent stages of issuing opinions, the safety of raw materials was primarily checked, e.g. through a detailed analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the product. The composition of the preparation is very simple - water and potassium carbonate - of course, appropriately processed and using the appropriate concentration of potassium carbonate. All to maintain the safety of users and the highest effectiveness of the liquid as a cleaning agent. In my opinion, the tested preparation is safe - the concentration of potassium carbonate used is low and therefore safe for users and surfaces on which it is used. Such concentrations of potassium hydroxide in an aqueous solution give a safe pH of the solution, which is not harmful to health. This is confirmed by both Polish and Swedish certificates. The production process of the preparation is environmentally friendly - there is no acidic sewage and at the same time saves water, which is very important at present. The packaging can be recycled, which is its great advantage. Even more important is that it can be refilled, so we reduce the amount of waste for recycling. A handy dispenser, good packaging volume facilitates everyday use of the preparation. The product will work as a cleaning agent at home and for people professionally involved in cleaning.

Stage III - Application testing

Due to the wide range of applications of the product, it was decided to conduct utility tests in 3 research areas: in the hospital ward, in office premises and in private homes.

The product for use at home was received by 41 people registered in the Institute's research panel, mainly medical and scientific staff and the Institute's administration, who are parents or guardians of infants and children qualified for the study in accordance with the results of the expert assessment and the study criteria. More than half of the surveys concerned a home with 1 or 2 children (58,54%, i.e. 24 responses), aged 8 months to 17 years (37 children – 25 girls, 12 boys). At the end of the survey period, users completed an electronic survey on the product features, giving ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 in six categories. The survey was supplemented by in-depth interviews, extending the opinion about the product, conducted with five randomly selected users.

The product is effective, cleans well, delays dust settling - I can see it in mirrors, but also in glasses. It has no fumes, does not sting the throat, does not irritate the skin, you can clean it without worries in an unventilated, closed bathroom. I do not have to worry that if I accidentally spray this liquid on myself while cleaning, it will harm me. It is efficient, and the bottle is handy.

I think the product is very good, it deals with dirt and grease brilliantly. It dealt with dirt that I thought would stay with us forever. Dust settling is significantly delayed, in my home it was most visible under the TV, which stands on a black cabinet with a glass top. This liquid is my discovery of the year. The antistatic properties of the liquid are amazing. Dust settled much slower, there was no trace of new dust on toys, countertops and the floor for several days, which is very important for me with small children. On surfaces cleaned daily, e.g. kitchen countertop, hob, 1 spray is enough and I quickly removed dirt, even very greasy.
