FizjoMommy x Rücken Junior, Baby and Adult is a line of mattresses designed with the needs of the entire family in mind – from newborns, through children, to teenagers and adults. Each of the three versions: Baby, Junior and Adult and was adapted to the age, body weight and development stage of the user, offering comfortable, safe sleep and the possibility of configuring the degree of hardness and surface profiling. Mattresses from the FizjoMommy line were created in strict cooperation with physiotherapist Karolina Wolnik-Piernacka.

Rücken x FizjoMommy Baby mattress was created to support the toddler from the first days of life to preschool age. The mattress is double-sided - the harder side (H3) with profiled HR 50 foam is recommended for children up to 12 months of age, the softer side (H2) with T-25 foam for older children. The reinforcement of the sides of the mattress in the form of a frame is made of T-28 foam, which provides stable support for the child's feet when standing in the bed. Height: 11 cm. Maximum load: 60 kg. Available sizes: 120×60 cm, 140×70 cm.

Rücken x FizjoMommy Junior Mattress is a proposal for children of preschool and school age. The Junior version is made of three types of foam: flexible HR 50, stabilizing T-28 and harder T-30, which together create a stable, comfortable, two-sided mattress with a hardness of H2-H3. Height: 13 cm. Load: up to 120 kg. Wide range of sizes: from 160×70 cm to 200×90 cm.

Rücken x FizjoMommy Adult Mattress — double-sided, designed for young people and adults who expect comfortable and stable body support during sleep. Consists of two foams: HR 50 and harder T-30 – both profiled in waves. The foams are not permanently connected, so they can be arranged freely, adjusting the hardness (H2-H3) to your own preferences. Height: 18 cm. Load: 120–150 kg. Dimensions: from 200×100 cm to 200×200 cm

Stage I - Documentation assessment

The first stage of giving opinions Mattresses Back x FizjoMommy Junior, Baby and Adult confirmed the general and health safety of the product for the user group declared by the manufacturer, based on the documentation required from the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming their safety. The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product properties of utility and functional character influencing the user's developmental safety and suitability in everyday use.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

Junior is more durable and has additional support for the spine of growing children, and Adult combines hard, contoured foam supporting the lumbar region, meeting the needs of adult users. Each version of the mattress is tailored to the specific needs of its age group: Baby is safe for infants thanks to hypoallergenic materials and takes into account the aspect of locomotion development, allowing easier standing thanks to the stiffening frame. Stage III - Application research

The purpose of the third stage of reviewing Mattresses Back x FizjoMommy Junior, Baby and Adult was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

Samples of the product were given to caregivers babies, dzieci and youth selected according to the intended use of the product and the criteria of the study. The final analysis was 20 fully completed surveys regarding users aged from 3 month of life up to 17 years of age (10 girls, 10 boys). The children measured from 60 cm to 170 cm, weighed from 7 do 70 Kg. 5 study participants (25%) had medical or similar education (3 doctors – radiologist, dentist, pediatrician, midwife, physiotherapist).

The study participants used the product at home as intended. The product was assessed in terms of design, functional features and any adverse effects resulting from the raw materials used.

A 5-point scale was used in the survey questions, where 1 is very bad and 5 is very good. The respondents also answered open-ended questions. All study observations were recorded in the questionnaire.

The mattress is aesthetically made, the cover in elegant, subdued colors. The foams are firm enough, comfortable to use, do not deform. The main user of the mattress considered this mattress the best she has slept on and this is the third mattress she has used. The cover dries quickly - washed in the morning it dried by the evening. Durable - the appearance and properties of the material did not change after washing, the cover remained soft to the touch, did not discolor, did not change shape. The product is definitely worth recommending.
