The aim of the study at the Institute of Mother and Child was to evaluate the product in terms of general, health and developmental safety of users.

During the subsequent stages of the assessment, the safety of the raw materials included in the product is checked, e.g. through a detailed analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the product. The correctness of the intended age and functionality of the product are also verified, i.e. practical application and the degree of implementation of the product's functional characteristics declared by the manufacturer, as well as the level of user satisfaction.

Stage I - Documentation assessment

PINIO 3 in 1 shampoo, shower gel and bubble gum bath liquid is intended for children over 1 year of age. Its recipe contains surface-active substances with cleansing and foaming properties and a very gentle effect on the skin. Humectants and water-aloe extract from aloe leaves are responsible for the moisturizing effect, preventing dryness and irritation of the skin by the substances mentioned. Due to the vitamins and minerals it contains, this extract also has a regenerating and nourishing effect on the skin. The action of humectants is complemented by squalane - a substance with emollient properties that moisturizes and softens the skin. The product also contains water-glycerine extract from oats, which has a smoothing and soothing effect on the skin and has a strong antioxidant effect. Since the liquid is also intended for washing hair, it contains substances with antistatic properties that create a protective coating on the hair and strongly moisturize the hair and skin. The fragrance composition included in the recipe does not contain compounds from the list of 26 most common allergens.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

Stage III - Application research

The purpose of the third stage of product evaluation PINIO 3in1 Shampoo, shower gel and bath liquid Bubble gum was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during application tests.

The product for use at home was received by 29 people, mainly medical, scientific and administrative staff of the Institute, registered in the Institute's research panel, who are caregivers of infants and children, in accordance with the result of the formula evaluation and the test criteria. Infants and children participated in the study. The study was conducted under the supervision of a dermatologist who was at the caregivers' disposal during the study period in the event of any disturbing symptoms or adverse events. As the study deadline expired, users completed an electronic survey about the product's features, assigning ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 in four main categories. The survey was complemented by in-depth interviews expanding the opinion about the product, conducted by an expert with five randomly selected users.

Boys' short hair is easy to comb. An additional advantage is that the packaging opens with a flap and does not unscrew, so it is easy to handle with wet hands.

I would be willing to choose this liquid for everyday use. Except for one thing - the smell. Very intense, artificial. I'm afraid of the composition of the product - it's hard for me to believe that such a scent is made of substances that are "healthy" for a small child's skin.
