The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

The construction of the mattress with ventilation channels and foam profiling ensures its proper ventilation. The foam surface slightly changes the hardness of the mattress. The mattress provides adequate support for individual body parts regardless of the position adopted by the child. The parent can decide to choose a mattress with a coconut mat and thus harden the base. The version with a latex mat that softens the base may be suitable for older children, but should not be used for children under 1 year of age. The fully detachable zipper makes it easier to keep the cover clean. The product is useful and fulfills its utility functions.

Stage III - Application testing

The purpose of the third stage of reviewing Manufaktura Materacy standard cot mattresses and larger equivalents was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

The product for use at home was received by 15 people registered in the Institute's research panel, mainly medical and scientific staff and the Institute's administration, who are parents or guardians of infants and children qualified for the study in accordance with the results of the expert assessment and the study criteria. The study included newborns and children aged 0 to 3 years and 10 months (8 girls, 7 boys). At the end of the study period, users completed an electronic survey on product features, giving ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 in six categories.

The mattress fit the cot perfectly. It is one of the harder ones, but in my opinion that is a plus. Made of smooth and skin-friendly material. Very good quality. The cover did not deform after washing, did not change dimensions. After washing it dried quite quickly. The child sleeps well and the mattress and cover serve without a hitch.
