LUPILU® Skin Care are exceptionally absorbent disposable diapers with Velcro fastening, designed with baby's delicate skin in mind. They are made of natural materials - the inner layer of the diaper is 100% plant-based, and the outer layer contains an addition of soft-touch organic cotton.

Diapers LUPILU® Skin Care are free from fragrances, latex, molecular chlorine and allergens from the list of 82 potential allergens. LUPILU® Skin Care diapers in sizes 1 and 2 have an elastic band at the back poop-pocket, which effectively prevents unwanted leaks.

Thanks to the use of innovative technologies, diapers provide maximum comfort and protection: ULTRA FAST DRY technology ensures rapid absorption of moisture, guaranteeing a dry surface inside the diaper. SOFT CLOUD Technology is responsible for the softness and elasticity that increase the comfort of wearing the diaper. AIR TUBES technology is a system of interconnected channels that evenly distribute moisture inside the absorbent core, preventing local clumping. LONG LASTING ABSORPTION technology guarantees long-lasting absorbency, minimizing the risk of rashes.

Scope of the Opinion

The aim of the study at the Institute of Mother and Child was to evaluate the product in terms of general, health and developmental safety of users. During the subsequent stages of reviewing, the safety of raw materials was checked primarily, including: through a detailed analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the product.

The correctness of the age purpose and functionality of the product were verified, i.e. the practical application and the degree of implementation of the product's functional properties declared by the manufacturer, as well as the level of user satisfaction.

Study details

Stage I - Documentation assessment

The first stage of giving opinions disposable diapers LUPILU® Skin Care confirmed the general and health safety of the product for the user group declared by the manufacturer, based on the documentation required from the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming their safety. The authenticity of the attestations and certificates of analysis in the scope of the declared product characteristics was verified. All aspects affecting the final quality and safety of the product have been thoroughly analyzed. The documentation of labels and instructions for use was also assessed.

Stage II - Expert sensory evaluation

The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product properties of utility and functional character influencing the user's developmental safety and suitability in everyday use.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

LUPILU® Skin Care diapers do not contain a fragrance composition or any of the most common allergens. The diaper nonwoven fabric in contact with the skin is 100% of plant origin, making it very delicate and safe for the baby's skin. Dermatological tests have shown that nonwoven fabrics in direct contact with the baby's skin do not irritate or allergen. The product has been approved for a utility test with the participation of children of appropriate age.

Choosing a diaper for a child is a problem for every parent. We need them from the first days and we will need them for a long time. Expectations towards this product are high. They are to be gentle for the child's skin, natural, free from ingredients that cause allergies, and provide good protection against moisture. If they also contain a wetness indicator, i.e. "give a signal" when to change them, they seem ideal. The LUPILU® Skin Care diaper set is certainly a product that meets these requirements. A set, because these diapers are intended from the first days of a child's life until they are 3 years old or reach 23 kg of body weight. They are produced in 5 sizes. Thanks to the new solutions used in the construction of the diaper, the time of urine absorption into its interior is shortened, and the layer in contact with the child's skin remains dry. The non-woven fabric from which it is made is 100% of plant origin. Dermatologically tested, safe and gentle for the child's skin. Additionally, the intelligent wetness indicator is also a great help for the parent. All these features were appreciated by the users of the study, who rated the diapers very well.

Stage III - Application research

The aim of the third stage of reviewing LUPILU Skin disposable diapers Care was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

The product for home use was received by 82 people from the Institute's research panel, mainly from the medical, scientific and administration staff of the Institute, who were parents or guardians of infants and children qualified for the study in accordance with the results of expert assessment and study criteria. At the end of the survey, users completed an electronic questionnaire on product features, giving ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 in six categories. The survey was supplemented by in-depth interviews, extending the opinion about the product, conducted with five randomly selected users.

Soft, delicate to the touch diapers - no signs of irritation on the skin, quite absorbent, did not irritate the baby's skin, in the past this happened with diapers from other manufacturers. They did not leak, despite the occurrence of diarrhea.
