Product description

LUPILU® Premium are highly absorbent, breathable, Velcro-fastened disposable diapers. The product uses technology channels that evenly distribute moisture inside the insert absorbent material and Fast Dry technology, which ensures immediate dryness of the skin-to-skin nonwoven fabric immediately after it gets wet, which prevents irritation of the baby's delicate skin.

Diapers they do not contain fragrances, latex, molecular chlorine, and are also free from allergens from the list of 82 potential allergens identified by the EU.

Thanks to the connected channels, LUPILU® Premium disposable diapers absorb urine much faster into the diaper. The technology used in the product ensures freedom of movement and eliminates the effect of the diaper sinking when loaded with content, allowing the child to function freely and comfortably every day.

Scope of the Opinion

The aim of the study at the Institute of Mother and Child was to evaluate the product in terms of general, health and developmental safety of users. During the subsequent stages of reviewing, the safety of raw materials was checked primarily, including: through a detailed analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the product.

The correctness of the age purpose and functionality of the product were verified, i.e. the practical application and the degree of implementation of the product's functional properties declared by the manufacturer, as well as the level of user satisfaction.

Study details

Stage I - Documentation assessment

The first stage of giving opinions LUPILU® Premium disposable diapers confirmed the general and health safety of the product for the user group declared by the manufacturer, based on the documentation required from the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming their safety. The authenticity of the attestations and certificates of analysis in the scope of the declared product characteristics was verified. All aspects affecting the final quality and safety of the product have been thoroughly analyzed. The documentation of labels and instructions for use was also assessed.

Stage II - Expert sensory evaluation

The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product properties of utility and functional character influencing the user's developmental safety and suitability in everyday use.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

Stage III - Application testing

The purpose of the third stage of reviewing LUPILU® Premium disposable diapers was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

The product for use at home was received by 25 people from the Institute's research panel, mainly medical and scientific staff and the Institute's administration, who are parents or guardians of infants and children qualified for the study in accordance with the results of the expert assessment and the study criteria. They participated in the study concerned children in a dedicated weight range, aged from 4 months to 4 years and 4 months (14 girls, 11 boys with their parents/guardians). As the study deadline expired, users completed an electronic survey about the product's features, assigning ratings on a scale from 1 to 5 in six categories. The survey was complemented by in-depth interviews, expanding opinions about the product, conducted with five randomly selected users.

Very good diapers, easy to put on and absorbent. They do not leak, the skin under the diaper is not irritated and is dry even with a full diaper. They are also pretty and have nice graphics.
