LINDA Rhubarb Family Body Wash Gel is a delicate washing gel enriched with an active moisturizing complex which contains, among others, sodium lactate, pyroglutamic acid (PCA), other amino acids, vitamins and sugars. These substances are part of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF) in the stratum corneum of the epidermis and intensively moisturize the skin, and this effect is supported betaine, glycerin i panthenol.

Thanks to the fragrance composition with reduced allergen content, the product LINDA Rhubarb Family Body Wash Gel is skin-friendly, leaving it soft, fresh and well-moisturized after each use. Potassium sorbate is used as a preservative in the gel.

The aim of the study at the Institute of Mother and Child was to evaluate the product in terms of general, health and developmental safety of users.

Stage I - Documentation assessment

During the first stage of product testing LINDA Rhubarb Family Body Wash Gel, canthe general and health safety of the product for the age group of users declared by the manufacturer was confirmed based on the assessment of the recipe and the documentation required from the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming the safety of the ingredients used. The authenticity of the attestations and certificates of analysis in the scope of the declared product characteristics was verified. All aspects affecting the final quality and safety of the product have been thoroughly analyzed. The packaging documentation was also assessed.

Stage II - Expert sensory evaluation

The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product properties of utility and functional character influencing the user's developmental safety and suitability for everyday use.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

A product known earlier, but with a milder scent. It washes very well, foams well, the foam is quite durable, does not "disappear" quickly - for me this is an advantage, and at the same time it rinses off the skin well. The skin remains clean. The scent is indeed very delicate - although I like this scent and despite a sensitive "allergic nose" there were no irritations during washing (runny nose or sneezing, and such symptoms occur immediately with some fragrances). This is certainly a product worth recommending and among many others present on the market it will find its supporters. It can be used for everyday washing or bathing.

Stage III - Application research

The purpose of the third stage of product evaluation LINDA Rhubarb Family Body Wash Gel was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during application tests.

The product was given to 15 children's caregivers for use at home, out of medical, scientific and administration staff of the Institute, registered in the Institute's research panel. The study involved children (10 girls and 5 boys at the age of od 3 do 11 lat together ze their parents/guardians, whereby 60% users were children aged 3-7 years), according to the result of the recipe evaluation and the test criteria. The test was conducted under the supervision of a dermatologist, whose task was to assess and qualify possible adverse events or disturbing symptoms. Electronic survey on the features of the product completed after an average period of 21 days of product use, awarding marks on a scale of 1 to 5 w four main categories. The survey was supplemented by in-depth interviews, broadening the opinion about the product, conducted by the leading expert with five randomly selected users.
