The sleeping otter is an aesthetic product that, thanks to the variety of available functions, can affect the child's senses - hearing, touch, sight and develop them. The sounds made are very natural, and the sound of white noise and heartbeat remind the baby of staying in the mother's tummy. The toy stands out due to the unique mechanism of moving the tummy, which perfectly complements the delicate backlight. The otter is in such a size that a child can take it with him everywhere. This is important from the point of view of building positive rituals towards the toy, and also gives the child a sense of security.

Alice Maciolek

Nurse at the Department of Child and Youth Neurology, Institute of Mother and Child

The toy has very attractive functions - above all, the unusual lifting of the tummy in the rhythm of breathing, although the mechanism is audible (especially at night). The built-in light is properly subdued and does not irritate, even after a sudden awakening in the dark. The control panel is inside the toy and I initially had reservations about this solution. However, in the perspective of time, I evaluate them extremely positively. Mainly due to the fact that thanks to this it is not used for children's play. So it is not so much a toy that can encourage play before bedtime, but more of a part of the bedtime ritual. The sounds produced are subdued and their level can be adjusted. They are pleasant to the ear and not monotonous - a melody to calm down lasting 30 minutes. Pleasant, pastel colors and sweet look correspond to the purpose of the toy and appeal to children regardless of gender. A huge plus is the possibility of washing after removing the sound module.

Stage III - Application testing

The purpose of the third stage of product evaluation was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

Comments from testers

Klaudia, mother of Teodor (2 weeks)

Attractive toy with many functions. Useful for both a newborn and an older child. Easy to use, sensory interesting (sound, pleasant to the touch). Delicate, subdued light does not demolish the child or people sleeping next to it. Calm, calming sounds. The child calmed down with them, relaxed. In addition, the sounds of the toy did not prevent adults from falling asleep when it was turned on.

Ilona, Antoni's mother (5 months)

My son liked the toy. Perfectly calms down before bedtime, the belly light function gives optimal light for falling asleep. Good quality product, good amount of sounds, great light. And a great option that I haven't seen in other toys - a moving tummy. A small minus for quite audible belly sounds.

Anna, mother of Basia (2,1 years old)

An interesting toy, thanks to such a variety of sounds, it is a great idea for the youngest and slightly older children, it can act as a sleeper, but also to calm down during the day and play. The sound is very gentle, conducive to calming the baby. I appreciate that the sounds are different than those often used in other musical toys. The toy is very durable, used by a busy child quite intensively and without damage.

Karolina, Milosz's mother (3,10 years old)

Good quality product, the right amount of sounds, great light. And a great option that I have not seen in other toys - a movable tummy. A small minus for quite audible belly sounds.

Justyna, Tadeusz's mother (1,10, XNUMX years old)

The product does its job. He has a sweet, endearing look and the snoring noises he makes are just adorable. It helps to calm the baby down and fall asleep. My son loves to listen to lullabies. The product is made very well, aesthetically, precisely, nothing happens to it. The otter has to be unzipped to change programs. It seems to me that it would be more convenient if this mechanism was in a visible place, so as not to have to unfasten the Velcro every time. You can also hear the breathing mechanism a bit, but the whole thing is a 5.
