Baby Penguin sonic toothbrush SEYSSO brand is intended for oral hygiene for children aged 0 to 3 years. The product enables gentle cleaning of the first teeth in small children as well as massage and stimulation of the gums.

The thickened handle of the toothbrush is equipped with a non-slip coating, comfortable to hold both for the caregiver and for small hands of children. Baby Penguin sonic toothbrush The SEYSSO device emits light when activated, enabling the caregiver to inspect the mouth being cleaned. It is started in a typical way - by pressing the button on the brush handle. One press emits light on the brush head, the second activates sound waves and fiber movements.

The fibers move at a frequency of 16 times per minute. The toothbrush timer is programmed for 000 operating mode, i.e. a 1-minute cycle divided into four 2-second periods (Baby Timer). The toothbrush is powered by a 30V AAA battery.

The purpose of issuing opinions at the Institute of Mother and Child is to assess the product in terms of general safety, health and development of users.

During the subsequent stages of the assessment, the safety of the raw materials included in the product is checked, e.g. through a detailed analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the product. The correctness of the intended age and functionality of the product are also verified, i.e. practical application and the degree of implementation of the product's functional characteristics declared by the manufacturer, as well as the level of user satisfaction.

Stage I - Documentation assessment

The first stage of product evaluation Baby Penguin sonic toothbrush Seysso brand confirmed the general and health safety of the product for the group of users declared by the manufacturer, based on the documentation required by the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming their safety. The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product properties of utility and functional character influencing the user's developmental safety and suitability in everyday use.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

Younger children have delicate gums, therefore a sonic toothbrush dedicated to children is equipped with sonic vibrations, which are more gentle than sonic movements. Thanks to this, its use does not pose a risk of damaging sensitive primary teeth. Sonic vibrations have no negative impact on the child or the parent's musculoskeletal system and are only minimally transmitted to the user. An additional advantage of sonic toothbrushes is the combination of vibrations with the need to perform standard sweeping movements required when cleaning with a traditional toothbrush. This does not free the child from working with his or her hands and develops him or her manually.

Workmanship without reservations. A connection of the handle with non-slip silicone was used, which is beneficial for the comfort of use. Everything matched exactly. The toothbrush is made of materials that are safe for the child's health. It has no sharp or dangerous parts that could pose a risk. Both the handle and the head are well designed. A product tailored to the age of recipients, taking into account their developmental needs. The illuminated tip makes it easier to observe the teeth while brushing and in my opinion it is a hit that is also worth using in toothbrushes for adults. The vibrations seem to be gentle and are not particularly transmitted to the hand. A product necessary in everyday hygiene. It allows you to introduce good habits into your child's routine early on.

The sonic toothbrush is an interesting proposition for parents - it gives the opportunity to care for the oral cavity of very young children. However, from the speech therapy point of view, sonic toothbrushes can be used not only for care, but also for sensory stimulation of the oral cavity. Replaceable tips attached to sonic toothbrushes make it easy to adapt them to the age and condition of the teeth.

Stage III - Application testing

The purpose of the third stage of product evaluation was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

The product for use at home was received by 30 people, mainly from the medical, scientific and administration staff of the Institute, registered in the research panel of the Institute, who are caregivers of infants and children, in accordance with its intended use and test criteria. Six guardians completed the questionnaires separately for two children of different ages. 36 fully completed questionnaires concerning children aged from 2 months to 2 years and 11 months (18 girls, 17 boys) were analyzed.. As the survey deadline expired, users completed an electronic survey on product features, giving ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 in four main categories. The survey was supplemented by in-depth interviews, extending the opinion about the product, conducted by an expert with five randomly selected users.

My daughter and I used the sonic toothbrush for the first time and I am positively surprised, I have the impression that the teeth are better cleaned with it than with an electric toothbrush. The child willingly used it alone and easily withstands the recommended 2 minutes of washing.

The product is made very carefully. Marysia liked the colors and outline of the penguin. The bristles in the brush are soft, do not irritate the gums and gently clean the teeth.
