Product description

The Stark Way Back is a double-sided mattress available in children's and youth versions. The mattress core is made of two types of foam: VitaRest® HR35 high-elastic foam and T25 (in sizes: 150×80 cm, 160×70 cm, 160×80 cm, 160×90 cm, 170×80 cm) or T30 (in sizes: 180×80 cm, 180×90 cm, 190×80 cm, 190×90 cm, 200×80 cm, 200×90 cm). The foams have different hardness and density parameters. The manufacturer indicates that VitaRest® HR35 is characterized by an open-cell structure.

The materials used are to ensure – according to the manufacturer's documentation – hardness level H2–H3 and be resistant to permanent deformation. The mattress has a ventilation channel system Air Pro, the purpose of which – according to the manufacturer – is to support air circulation in the structure of the insert.

The cover is made of fabric containing TENCEL™ fibers and a 3D mesh insert. The manufacturer declares that this construction has support air exchange. The cover is equipped with a Safe Zip 360° zipper, allowing it to be completely unzipped and divided into two parts, which is to facilitate removal and cleaning.

Mattress The Stark Way Back has a double-sided construction. According to the manufacturer, the sides differ in hardness: one of them (marked in purple) is made of VitaRest® HR35 foam, with declared medium hardness (H2) and properties limiting the development of microorganisms. The other side (white) contains T25 or T30 foam – depending on size – with a higher degree of hardness (H3). The manufacturer indicates that the choice of the usable side can be adjusted to the age, body weight or individual preferences of the user.

Stage I - Documentation assessment

The first stage of giving opinions Rücken Stark Mattress confirmed the general and health safety of the product for the user group declared by the manufacturer, based on the documentation required from the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming their safety. Stage II - Expert sensory evaluation

The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product properties of utility and functional character influencing the user's developmental safety and suitability in everyday use.

The assessment was carried out on product samples by a team of field specialists, based on the knowledge and experience possessed by experts, current research results, guidelines of field consultants and recommendations of scientific societies as well as applicable legal provisions and subject regulations.

According to the manufacturer, the mattress is intended for children from 3 years of age and has a double-sided construction made of two types of foam with different structure and hardness. Stage III - Application testing

The purpose of the third stage of reviewing Rücken Stark Mattress was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during operational tests.

The product for use at home was received by 10 people registered in the Institute's research panel, mainly medical and scientific staff and the Institute's administration, who are parents or guardians of infants and children qualified for the study in accordance with the results of the expert assessment and the study criteria. The study included infants and children in age from 13. monthsating up to 11 years of age (7 girls, 3 boys). At the end of the study period, users completed an electronic survey on product features, giving ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 in six categories.

The dimensions of the mattress perfectly match the bed frame. I thought the mattress would be heavier, but here's a very nice surprise. The mattress is double-sided and has different types of hardness on each. My son slept on the softer one and was very pleased. The material of the cover is very pleasant to the touch. After washing, it did not change its appearance or structure. It is in the same condition as before washing. The mattress fulfills its functions - the child wakes up well rested, sleeps well on the mattress.

The mattress is quite light, which makes it easy to transport, carry and change the bedding. The fabric of the cover is pleasant to the touch and does not change its properties after washing. There is a mesh sewn into the sides, which suggests better ventilation. Fastened with a zipper - I had no problem taking off or putting on the cover on the mattress. I have no reservations about the quality - very aesthetically made. It is comfortable, but a bit too hard for my daughter.
