The Rücken AERO is a double-sided mattress designed for children's beds. According to the manufacturer's documentation, its core is made of two types of polyurethane foam: highly resilient VitaRest® HR foam (H2 hardness) and T-28 foam , used in a perimeter frame. This frame around the mattress increases the stability of its edges. This solution can support the child when trying to stand up at the edge of the bed.
The mattress is double-sided , with each side differing in design. One side is equipped with a 3D ventilation mat and uniformly deep ventilation channels, while the other side features a varied arrangement of vertical ventilation channels. According to the manufacturer, this design is designed to adapt the use of each side of the mattress to the child's weight – the side with the mat is indicated as suitable for children up to 12 kg, while the side without the mat is for heavier children.
To support airflow, the AirPro ventilation system is used , which includes channels in the foam structure, a 3D mat and a ventilation mesh sewn into the cover.
The product is intended for use in children's beds, in the age group specified by the manufacturer.
The cover is made of fabric containing TENCEL™ fibers . Its perimeter is finished with a breathable 3D mesh . The cover can be fully unzipped and divided into two sections thanks to the 360° Safe Zip . According to the manufacturer, it has been enriched with a hydrophobic layer , which delays the penetration of liquids into the mattress. The cover is washable at up to 60°C.
