Added value

Water is an essential element for the life of every human being. That is why it is so important that proper hydration of the body is one of the elements of a proper diet, and thus - a healthy lifestyle. This is of great importance, especially in the case of children, as they are particularly sensitive to fluid deficiency. It should be remembered that our body is not able to store large amounts of water. Therefore, water should be drunk regularly throughout the day, not just when you are thirsty.

It is worth remembering that not all bottled waters are mineral waters. In order for water to be called mineral, it must meet the detailed requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Health, and its mineral composition must be stable. Mineral waters are available in stores, differing in the content of minerals. This may be influenced by the region-specific geological structure of the land from which the water is extracted. What is important - such waters are not enriched in any way. Depending on the origin - natural mineral waters may differ in taste, physical properties, e.g. pH, or the level of mineralization - containing in its composition from several to even several dozen minerals with nutritional properties for the human body. Therefore, when choosing mineral water, it is important to pay attention not only to its composition, but also to its origin.

Overall assessment

It is worth getting children used to drinking water regularly from an early age, as it helps to form a healthy habit. Remember that it is best to hydrate the body by drinking moderate amounts of water, because it is not absorbed right away. First, thirst is quenched, and only then the water shortage in the body is compensated. It should be borne in mind that insufficient fluid intake may result in dehydration.
