The purpose of the third stage of product evaluation Dada Everyday Wet Wipes was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during application tests.
The study involved 45 infants and children (23 girls and 22 boys) aged 2 months to 5 years, along with their parents/guardians. Infants comprised 40% of the study group. Seven infants were exclusively breastfed, and 10 received formula. One child had a history of food allergy. Forty-two children (93%) had very good skin condition before the study, while three had good skin lesions on the buttocks and cheeks. Mucosal condition was described as very good in 43 (96%) of the children enrolled in the study, and good in two.
Most (60%) evaluators she used wipes for 10-20 dni. Average time userating was 12 days. Product usedmost often from 2 to 5 times per day (72% users); on average 4 times a day. Handkerchiefek used for purification buttocks and skin under the diaper (96%), cancer (73%) i/or face (49%).
During the study, the children's skin was monitored for any potential adverse effects associated with the use of the product, such as redness, burning, itching, and other symptoms. The children's general condition was also monitored. The product's impact on the child's skin was assessed (skin condition and cleansing effectiveness), as were its functional properties (level of fluid saturation, fragrance, dimensions and durability of the nonwoven fabric, efficiency, etc.). A 5-point scale was used, with 1 being very poor and 5 being very good. All observations from the study were recorded in a questionnaire.
