Stage I - Documentation assessment

During the first stage of product testing Cien Family Micellar, family shower gel the general and health safety of the product was confirmed for the user age group declared by the manufacturer, based on the evaluation of the recipe and the documentation required from the manufacturer.

A detailed analysis of the product and the origin of raw materials was performed, including the results of tests from accredited laboratories confirming their safety. The subject of expert sensory evaluation were the product's functional and utility properties, affecting the user's developmental safety and suitability for everyday use.

The evaluation was conducted on product samples by a team of domain experts, based on their knowledge and experience, guidance from domain consultants, and recommendations from scientific societies. Each team member rated the product on a scale of 1-5 for the criteria listed below. The overall score in each category is the arithmetic mean of the individual expert ratings.

In my opinion, this is a very good product for everyday use. The large, family-sized packaging with a convenient dispenser makes it truly practical. The gel has a pleasant consistency, a delicate scent that doesn't irritate even sensitive, allergy-prone noses, and spreads easily on the skin. After washing, the skin remains moisturized and doesn't dry out. I also appreciate the use of natural ingredients – this is certainly a plus that will find many fans. There are many such products on the market, so it's always worth making an individual assessment and testing how a product affects your skin. For my family and myself, the gel has fully fulfilled its purpose.

This cleanser contains an effective surfactant that thoroughly cleanses the skin. It lathers well and has a delicate, pleasant scent, making it suitable for children over three years of age. Stage III - Application research

The purpose of the third stage of product evaluation Cien Family Micellar, family shower gel was the confirmation of the safety of use and the assessment of the product properties declared by the manufacturer during application tests.

The study was attended by 30 children (13 girls and 17 boys) aged from 3 to 13 years old with their parents/guardians, whereby 67% of users were the youngest children, i.e. aged 3-6. In 90% of cases, the gel was also used by other study participants.a (parents, siblings). Allergological interview showed that 6 children were suffering from allergies (inhalant, food), two of whom were also diagnosed with asthma. U 23 The skin condition of the children before the study began was very good; the skin was well moisturized and without any signs of irritation. In the remaining 7 dzieci skin condition was assessed as good due to the presence of dry skin, itching, irritations and redness, sensitive skin, diagnosed with atopic dermatitis – AZS, seborrheic dermatitis – PsA. The condition of the mucous membranes in 29 children qualified for the study were assessed as very good, one child as good.

Overall, it's a great product for me. This is exactly the type of gel I use. I need something gentle to wash my baby and myself. This gel doesn't dry out my skin at all. It leaves it slightly moisturized, but without any noticeable film, which is a plus for me. It's nice that it comes in a large container. We took the gel on vacation, where I also washed my face with it, and it performed well – no tight feeling, and I have dry skin. The only downsides are the average scent and the difficult-to-use pump. I would definitely buy this gel again.
