Justyna Hermaniuk, M.A.

Psychologist at the Department of Early Psychological Intervention and the Day Rehabilitation Center for Children, Institute of Mother and Child

A graduate of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw, where in 2017 she obtained a master's degree in psychology with a specialization in clinical child and family psychology and forensic psychology. From 2018, she is also a PhD student at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw.

At the Institute of Mother and Child, Mrs. Justyna Hermaniuk has been working since 2017 as a psychologist in the Department of Early Psychological Intervention and the Daytime Rehabilitation Center for Children of the IMiD. In her work, she deals with the diagnosis and assessment of the mental development of young children, as well as psychological assistance for children with development disorders. It also supports families in dealing with emerging emotional and regulatory difficulties.

As a result of development related to professional interests, it acquired the right to use ADOS-2 (Spectrum Behavior Observation Protocol autism) in clinical diagnostics and to use the Intelligence Scale Stanford-Binet 5. She is currently undergoing training to be awarded the title of trainer of the video communication training method (vit), during which he is under constant supervision.

In individual and family work and during therapeutic classes, Mrs. Justyna supports parents of young patients in empathetically noticing their children's initiatives and feelings. Together with them, she tries to look at reality through the eyes of a child, to better recognize his needs and to foster a trusting bond.

Privately, she is a lover of cats and culture. Mrs. Justyna likes to spend her free time in theaters and strolling through art galleries.
