MD Alicja Zawislak

Dentist, Orthodontist, Molecular Biologist, Acting Head of the Department of Maxillary Orthopedics and Orthodontics, Institute of Mother and Child

Doctor Alicja Zawiślak is a graduate of three universities. Namely: Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universität in Greifswald and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Raising her qualifications, she also defended her doctoral thesis and obtained the title of a specialist in orthodontics.

At the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, Ms. Alicja Zawiślak passionately shares her professional competences, working as an assistant professor, as well as acting as the Head of the Department of Maxillary Orthopedics and Orthodontics at IMiD. He is also an academic teacher at the Department of Integrated Dentistry of the Pomeranian Medical University, where he is happy to take an active part in educating the next generations of dentists.

She developed her scientific interests during a six-month postdoctoral fellowship in Center for Applied Medical Research at the University of Navarre in Pamplona, ​​and during numerous internships at foreign universities, she gained clinical experience. Among them you can find, among others: Universita degli Studi di Milano, Universidad San Antonio Catolica de Murcia, Universitat International de Catalunya in Barcelona and Alexandria University.

With her knowledge, Dr. Alicja Zawiślak is committed to sharing both in the lecture hall and at international conferences, including: World Federation of Orthodontists in London, European Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association in the Netherlands, or European Orthodontic Society in Cyprus. He knows English, German and Spanish.
