Physiotherapy specialist, Head of the Therapeutic Improvement Department, Institute of Mother and Child

A graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, which she graduated in 1981 in the field of Physical Rehabilitation. In 1994, she defended her doctoral thesis and obtained the title of doctor of physical culture in the field of physical rehabilitation. In addition, since 2009 he is a physiotherapy specialist.

Since 1984, she has been associated with the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, where she works until now. In 1999, she took the position of the Head of the Medical Rehabilitation Department of the IMiD.

In the course of professional development, she completed 28 foreign and domestic courses. In 1995, she also completed a professional internship in the field of rehabilitation at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. In the years 1997-2009, she was the Scientific Manager and lecturer at CMKP courses in the field of pulmonary rehabilitation. In the years 1997-2018 she was a member of the International Group of Physiotherapists dealing with the issue of cystic fibrosis (IPG(CF)). As part of the Polish Cystic Fibrosis Society, from 2003 to 2017, she organized numerous courses for physiotherapists in the field of pulmonary rehabilitation.

Over the last three years, she has focused her interests on physiotherapy in functional disorders of the pelvic floor muscles in women and physioprophylaxis of distant postpartum pathologies within the small pelvis, using counseling and preventive programs. In addition to strictly professional achievements, she is also the author of 46 publications and scientific papers.
