At the Institute of Mother and Child, Prof. Halina Weker leads the medical and nutritional team. In addition, Prof. Weker serves as Head of the Nutrition Department at the Institute of Mother and Child (until September 09.2024).
In addition to working at the Institute of Mother and Child, she is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Science of the Medical University of Warsaw.
Prof. Halina Weker deals with issues related to the nutrition of children and women during pregnancy and lactation. She is also a member of the forum of experts developing nutritional recommendations for infants and small children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and an expert reviewing foodstuffs, including those intended for infants and children.
