MD Maria Bielecka-Zylbersztejn

A graduate of the Medical Academy in Warsaw. She gained her specialization while working at the Allergology and Pneumonology Clinic of the same Academy, where she developed her scientific interests. Then, she continued her professional career at the Institute of Mother and Child, running the Allergology Clinic for many years. In 2002, she defended her doctoral thesis on the assessment of bronchial reactivity in patients with cystic fibrosis.

Currently, Mrs. Maria Bielecka-Zylbersztejn runs a private practice, focusing on the treatment of children with allergic diseases and respiratory diseases. Mrs. Maria's special professional interests include specific immunotherapy, also commonly known as desensitization (as a causal method of treating allergic diseases).

Mrs. Maria actively participates in many national and international congresses and symposia related to her professional work. This allows Mrs. Maria to regularly learn about progress in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases, which results in the introduction of new methods to treat patients. Mrs. Maria is also a member of the Polish Society of Allergology and Pediatrics.

Apart from her professional passions, Mrs. Maria has a rich private life. He is interested in film, ballet, opera, and in his free time he reads non-fiction and biographies. She is the mother of two scientists who also follow an academic path, as university lecturers in Lyon and London.
