A graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, which she graduated in 2015 with a master's degree in nursing.

Since 2015, Ms Joanna Płoska has been associated with the Diabetes Clinic of the Mother and Child Institute, where she works as a diabetes nurse. It is worth adding, however, that apart from the function performed in the Diabetes Clinic, he also deals with occupational medicine.

On a daily basis, she prepares patients diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for treatment with a personal insulin pump. To support these people in their daily lives, he conducts comprehensive training courses directly related to the treatment method, as well as technical training - including the CGM (Continuous Glycemic Monitoring) system. In addition, Ms Joanna Płoska trains patients with gestational diabetes and pregnant women with type 1 diabetes in the field of education, and prepares pregnant women to change therapy. It also connects to insulin pumps.

Among his activities related to the performed work, he includes participation in the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) program. Program of Personal Insulin Pump Treatment for Pregnant Women with Diabetes. Through her professional development, she completed numerous courses, including specialist course Performing and interpretation of the ECG record, diabetes educator course, course Certified pump traineras well as a specialist course Protective vaccinations for nurses and midwives. In 2016, Ms Joanna Płoska obtained a personal insulin pump trainer certificate.

Privately, since 2011, she has also been struggling with type 1 diabetes, and therefore the area of ​​issues related to this disease is very well known to her. Thanks to the experience gained, she tries to show her patients that despite getting sick, they can live a normal life.

In her free time, Ms Joanna Płoska eagerly goes on mountain trips, climbs a climbing wall, or jumps on a trampoline. Among his activities, he also mentions gym exercises, dancing and running. She emphasizes that when performing the above activities, diabetes is not a limitation for her.
