Ms. Grażyna Rowicka is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Bialystok. After graduation, she obtained a first and second degree specialization in the field of paediatrics. In 2002, she obtained the degree of doctor of medical sciences, and in 2019, the degree of doctor habilitated in medical sciences in the field of medicine.
She has been associated with the Institute of Mother and Child since 1988, working at the Paediatrics Clinic and the Gastroenterology Clinic for Children, and from 2004 to the present in the medical and nutritional team of the Nutrition Department.
In 2003, Ms. Grażyna Rowicka started a one-year cooperation with the Warsaw Children's Hospital, where she worked in the Gastrology Clinic and the Endoscopy Laboratory. In the years 2008 -2011 she was employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Dietetics of the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumer Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
Ms. Grażyna's areas of special clinical and research interests include eating disorders in children, i.e. malnutrition and obesity, as well as adverse reactions to food.
Mrs. Grażyna Rowicka is also involved in teaching activities. For many years, she has been giving lectures in the field of gastroenterology at specialization courses in pediatrics at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education, and for many years she has been giving lectures at Postgraduate Studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University of Warsaw. It also participates in international and national research projects.
She is the author and co-author of numerous publications in national and international journals. Additionally, Ms. Grażyna is a member of the Ethics Appeals Committee for Clinical Research Involving Human Subjects of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, as well as the editorial committee. International Journal of Allergy Medications. For three terms, she was also a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw. Ms. Grażyna Rowicka is a member of the Polish Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
