Neurologist at the Laboratory of Speech Pathophysiology and Endoscopy of the Upper Airways, Institute of Mother and Child

Ms Elżbieta Radkowska has graduated from the University of Warsaw since 1995. In 2003, she additionally completed a specialization in the field of neurologopedics at SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Warsaw.

In her professional life, she works as a neurologist at the Laboratory of Speech Pathophysiology and Endoscopy of the Upper Airways of the Institute of Mother and Child. Her activities at the Institute of Mother and Child also include participation in the implementation of the grant entitled 30 years of treatment experience single-stage total unilateral cleft lip and palate - multidisciplinary evaluation of long-term results at the Department of Surgery for Children and Youth IMiD.

Apart from her work, Ms Elżbieta Radkowska is actively involved in teaching. Since 2011, in cooperation with the Foundation Cleft Dreams, organizes and conducts speech therapy sessions for children with cleft lip and / or palate. Additionally, in 2017, she started cooperation with the Faculty of Logopaedics at the University of Warsaw and the Postgraduate Speech Therapy Study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, where she conducts lectures and practical classes with students.

Her research interests include issues related to early support of speech development in children with craniofacial defects, as well as the topic of hearing disorders and their impact on the development of speech in patients with cleft lip and / or palate, and psychological problems occurring in a given group of patients.

Privately, Mrs. Elżbieta Radkowska is a mother of two daughters. In his free time, he relaxes during long forest walks, as well as listening to music and reading books. She is also a dog lover. Among his interests, he also mentions culinary topics, which include mainly the cuisine of Dalmatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
