Physiotherapist, Deputy Head of the Therapeutic Rehabilitation Department, Institute of Mother and Child

A graduate of the Academy of Physical Education. Józef Piłsudski in Warsaw, which he graduated from in 1980. A few years later, he obtained a PhD in physical education, specializing in physical rehabilitation.

A long-time employee and co-founder of the Medical Improvement Unit of the Mother and Child Institute in Warsaw. Former head of the Functional Diagnostics Laboratory of the IMiD. Currently, at the Institute of Mother and Child, Mr. Lesław Kluba is the Deputy Head of the Institute of Therapeutic Improvement of the Institute of Mathematics and Physics. She deals with a wide range of patients, from breastfeeding women, through children with health deficits, adults and seniors with various diseases, to patients after Covid-19.

He develops his professional experience by participating in numerous trainings, courses and conferences. He co-organizes and lectures at the IMiD scientific and training conferences in the field of obesity. He is also an academic lecturer in the fields of Physiotherapy, Public Health, Special Education, and Tourism and Recreation. He also lectures at the University of the Third Age and at the Medical Center of Postgraduate Education courses.

Mr. Lesław Kluba is also the author and co-author of many publications, which include guides and articles on physiotherapy. He also reviews scientific publications. Moreover, Mr. Lesław Kluba, among his achievements, may include the implementation of grants from the Committee for Scientific Research and the National Science Center, as well as the ASOS Government Programs. He is also the executor of the Statutory Programs of the IMiD and a member of the Interdisciplinary Team for Comprehensive Treatment of Child and Youth Obesity at IMiD.

Among the wide spectrum of professional interests, he mentions natural anthropomotorics, physiology of physical exercise, physioprophylaxis of children and the elderly, health motor skills of people of different ages, functional diagnostics, sports medicine, as well as environmental reactions, and rare and civilization diseases.
