A graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, where in 2012 she obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing. She continued her education at the Medical University of Lublin. Her specialization is neonatology.
Ms Dorota Lewandowska has been working in the profession of a nurse for 35 years. Since 1992, she has been associated with the Institute of Mother and Child, where she initially served as a nurse in the Neonatology Department of the Institute of Mathematics and Physics. Since 1997, she has been a coordinating nurse at the Department of Neonatology and Newborn Intensive Care, IMiD. Additionally, from 2005 to 2020, she worked in an ambulance staff N (neonatal), intended for the transport of newborns and infants up to 1 year of age.
Mrs. Dorota updates and expands her knowledge of her work by participating in numerous courses and training in the field of neonatology. These include, among others: a newborn resuscitation course, a vaccination course, or a blood donation course. Moreover, Mrs. Dorota Lewandowska participated in the training NBA's (Newborn Behavior Assessment Scale) and training in neonatal hearing screening. In addition to training, she willingly participates in conferences that are thematically consistent with her professional interests.
Privately, Ms Dorota Lewandowska is interested in psychology, gardening and behavior of domestic animals. Her interests also include the subject of religion, and therefore she undertook biblical studies at the AKW in Warsaw. Additionally, she took the following courses: CHARIS and Alpha. In her free time, Mrs. Dorota likes to read books or relax by watching movies.
