A graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, where in 2012 she obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing. She continued her education at the Medical University of Lublin. Her specialization is neonatology.
Dorota Lewandowska has been a nurse for 35 years. Since 1992, she has been associated with the Institute of Mother and Child, where she initially served as a nurse in the Neonatology Department of the Institute of Mother and Child. Since 1997, she has been a coordinating nurse in the Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care Clinic of the Institute of Mother and Child. Additionally, from 2005 to 2020, she worked as a member of the staff of the N (neonatology) ambulance, designed to transport newborns and infants up to one year of age.
Dorota Lewandowska updates and expands her professional knowledge by participating in numerous courses and training sessions in neonatology. These include, among others, a neonatal resuscitation course, a vaccination course, and a blood donation course. Additionally, Dorota Lewandowska participated in the NBAS (Newborn Behavioral Assessment Scale) training and a training session on newborn hearing screening. In addition to training sessions, she enjoys attending conferences relevant to her professional interests.
In her personal life, Dorota Lewandowska is interested in psychology, gardening, and pet behavior. She also counts religion among her interests, which led her to pursue Bible studies at the AKW in Warsaw. Additionally, she has completed the CHARIS and Alpha courses . In her free time, Dorota enjoys reading or relaxing by watching movies.
