MD Alice Karney

A graduate of the Medical Academy in Warsaw, which she graduated in 1988. In addition, Dr. Karney completed postgraduate studies in the field of management of health care organizations in 2013.

At the Institute of Mother and Child, Ms Alicja Karney is the Deputy Director for Clinical Affairs and the Head of the One-Day Hospitalization Department and the IMiD Admission Room.

In addition to purely professional achievements, she is also the author of many medical publications in magazines and guides for parents, where she expresses herself on topics directly related to her professional interests. They mainly include the broadly understood area of ​​pediatrics - from the birth of a child - until it reaches adulthood. Ms. Alicja Karney is particularly interested in the problem of eating disorders, which includes, among others, the topic of obesity. Moreover, apart from the above-mentioned, he is also interested in issues related to atopic dermatitis, allergy and vacinology.

In connection with the above-mentioned professional interests, Ms. Alicja Karney completed numerous courses, incl. in the field of: allergology and vaccinology. Additionally, also by participating in courses, he broadens his knowledge in the areas of immunology and paediatrics. Her activity in the field of science also includes participation in conferences - both domestic and foreign.

Privately, Mrs. Alicja Karney is a mother of an adult daughter and a partner of an artist - sculptor. In his free time, he most often and most willingly chooses to travel. He also likes reading books, especially biographies and detective stories. In addition, she is passionate about art, which she admires by visiting galleries and museums around the world.
